A man with red-green colourblindness marries a woman who has normal colour vision and is not a carrier of the gene for this trait. Which of the following statements would best describe their offspring? A. All of their sons would be colourblind. B. Half of their sons would be colourblind, half of their daughters would be colourblind. C. Half of their daughters will be colourblind. D. None of their children will be colourblind, but all of their daughters will be carriers. E. Half of their sons will be colourblind. All of their daughters will be colourblind.

considering they mention 'carriers', it's clear that colourblindness is some sort of recessive trait, and a quick Google search confirms that it's X-linked. so the man is colorblind and is thus X^a Y where X^a is the recessive trait while the woman is X^A X^A since she is not a carrier. now cross:

so the two females will be carriers but otherwise asymptomatic while the males will all be normal type; none of the children have colour blindness, but all the daughters are carriers
