The figure below shows two triangles on a coordinate grid:
What set of transformations is performed on triangle ABC to form triangle A′B′C′?
A 180-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin, followed by a translation 5 units down
A translation 5 units down followed by a 180-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin
A 270-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin, followed by a translation 5 units to the right
A translation 5 units to the right, followed by a 270-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin

Its the second option
the translation down 5 is first part then 180 degrees counterclockwise rotation is second part
OpenStudy (muscrat123):
thank u SO MUCH!!! @horsegirl27

np :)

around the origin.
OpenStudy (muscrat123):
?
OpenStudy (horsegirl27):
like circled I think
OpenStudy (muscrat123):
over the origin?
OpenStudy (horsegirl27):
I think maybe under? idk, I've just seen this before and remembered the answer :)

Sorry my geogebra was slow in making the gifs
anyways, first translate ABC 5 units down (see 1a.gif)
then rotate the translated figure 180 degrees (see 1b.gif)
so horsegirl27 is correct
