FRENCH - One of my resources has given me the sentence "Quelle est votre/ta ceinture?" As that translates to "Which is your belt?" I was wondering how would you word it as: "Which belt is yours?" (or would the latter way of saying it not be the one typically used in French? Because in English "Which belt is yours" sounds a bit better than "Which is your belt" but I understand French may be different). Thanks!
What belt does it refer to? Has it to do with a piece of clothing or to a martial art such as judo or karate?
Ceinture as in clothing. :)
"Quelle est votre ceinture ?" is ok to ask Which belt is yours? "Laquelle est votre ceinture ?" = Which one is your belt? Slightly more familiar would be: Votre ceinture, c'est laquelle ?
Merci!
