v=d/t Solve for d.
d = vt
Thank you! And I also need help with solving for t.
t =d / v
ok thank you! But how did you do that in steps cause I got it the first answer but I'm not sure who you got this answer for t
v=d/t To solve for d we have to get d by its self and we do that by multiplying both sides of the equal sign by t, which will give us d =vt To solve fro t from d =vt we need to get t by itself and we do that by dividing both sides fo the equal sign by v, which will give us t = d/v
\( \huge v = \frac{d}{t} \) \( \huge t\times v = \frac{d}{t} \times t \) \( \huge t\times v = d \) \( \huge tv = d \) \( \huge d = vt \) \[\huge d = vt \] \[\huge \frac{d}{v} = \frac{vt}{v} \] \[\huge \frac{d}{v} = t \] \[\huge t = \frac{d}{v} \]
