The Orion constellation. Region of sky with lots of bright stars dark and bright nebulas (regions filled with gas and dust birth place of new stars ) as well as abundance of radio sources. Orion is visible prominantly during winters.

Kuiper belt is the region beyond the orbit of Neptune. There are thousands of small to as large as Pluto objects in this region. Around 1000 of these objects having orbits around the Sun have been discovered. However around 60 years ago the astronomer Kuiper predicted the existence of these objects on purely theoretical basis so the name of the region "Kuiper Belt".

Other then Pluto the first of these objects Sedna was discovered in 1990s

First human vehicle (no one on board ) is nearing Pluto. Crossing Pluto as close as around 7000 miles it would go beyond into the Kuiper Belt the remotest region of our Solar System.

About the Kuiper belt post


Belt" does not mean the objects are closely placed rather it simply means a region the objects spread to long distances from each other. The pic I shared is an exaggeration.


If you look for "astroid belt" between mars n Jupiter u will find similar exaggerated pics

Having said all that the probability of getting hit by an unknown object of small size even few feet wide with unknown path is not Zero
