help please :) f(x)=1/x^2-3 substitute h for x in the function to solve for f(h).

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Why don't you plug in h as it asks you to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha. not sure exactly what the answer is supposed to be

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

f(h) just means you plug in h wherever the x exists, just like how f(x) has an x there. You could make it f(z), f(g), f(5) what ever, just replacing the x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is literally just f(h)=1/h^2-3?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Yes, unless it's asking you for other things

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thanks!! I was just confused whether that was it or not haha
