a sphere has a radius of 3 and a different sphere has a radius of 6. compare the ratio of the volume of the smaller sphere to the volume of the larger sphere.
Do you know the formula to find the volume of sphere? @Kinzol1234
Whoops @Kinzo1234
no, im not sure
sphereV= (4/3)(pi)(r^3)
Vol=4 pi r*r*r/3=k r*r*r (k is a constant) r*2 --> Vol*8 --- 8 times the volume = 7 times larger Not 8 times larger. 8 times as large = 7 times larger.
im not sure how to get 8? when i add in 3 im getting a completly different number.
(4/3)(22/7)(27) : (4/3)(22/7)(198) (88/21)(27) : (88/21)(198) hope this helped
r=3 and r1=6 volume of smaller one:volume of bigger one =4pi r *r*r/3 : 4pi r1*r1*r1/3 now cancel whatever got cancelled with eachother now we hvae left only=> r*r*r/r1*r1*r1 now put he values 3*3*3/6*6*6 1/8 i hope u got it now :)
thnx for medal :) @dix123
np @yashii it really was good
thank you this makes sense but if we can just cube the number how come there is a formula?
i only put the numbers in the mentioned formulae.
@dix123 :)
