OpenStudy (michaeljordan23):

Maria is concerned because she has been exposed to a small amount of radiation during an X-ray. What is her doctor most likely to tell her? Radiation from X-rays is not a mutagen unless you have X-rays every day. Mutagens have no effect on the body unless you have inherited them. Small amounts of a mutagen often do not have an effect on health. Severe mutations are usually caused by small amounts of a mutagen.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

Hmm, I don't think it will effect seriously as Many people have been exposed to radiation. Also, she shouldn't be worried because the amount of radiation she was exposed to was \(very~ little\) and wont effect anything or anyone., which means Small amounts of a mutagen often do not have an effect on health. Now, Lets here more explanation how @taramgrant0543664 got it right !, Can you Please say how ? @michaeljordan23 \(Nice~to~meet~you~!\)
