You can find the distance from the equation \[\large distance=speed \times time\] So plugging in the values for the car ride we get \[\large Distance=27\times0.4\ miles\] Now we need to find the time to travel that distance at 16 mph, which is \[\large t=\frac{27\times0.4}{16}\ hours\]
