I can't decide between A or E.

OpenStudy (paki):

The Populist Party, in U.S. history, was a political party formed primarily to express the agrarian protest of the late 19th century. The party adopted a platform calling for free coinage of silver, abolition of national banks, a sub-treasury scheme or some similar system, a graduated income tax, plenty of paper money, government ownership of all forms of transportation and communication, election of Senators by direct vote of the people, non-ownership of land by foreigners, civil service reform, a working day of eight hours, postal banks, pensions, revision of the law of contracts, and reform of immigration regulations.

Ok.. but like, isn't the Populist Party aka the People's Party? So would it be the common man? Or would it be farmers because they "formed primarily to express the agrarian protest?"

OpenStudy (paki):

As per my explanation it leads us to option E, so that's the best choice to pick...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, thanks.

OpenStudy (paki):

pleasure...
