OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve C = AB + D for B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to get by on its own. Any idea how? where to start?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nop

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'd start by subtracting d and putting it on the other side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then proceed to divide the whole thing by a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that should get you b on its own

Mehek (mehek14):

you want to isolate B \(C=AB+D\) first step would be to get rid of D it is +D so the opposite is -D \(C-D=AB\) Next divide A since AB is A*B and you need the opposite \(\dfrac{C-D}{A}=B\)

OpenStudy (mm3591):

subtract d from both sides, then divide by a, it should look like this \[\frac{ C-D }{ A }=B\] Hope this helped

OpenStudy (vheah):

C = AB + D 1) Subtract D on both sides to leave AB alone because the goal is to get B: C-D=AB 2) Divide A since it is being multiplied to B on both sides to cancel A on the right where the AB is. (C-D)/A = B B= C-D/A
