The teacher of a seventh-grade class flipped a coin 100 times. The students recorded the results in the table shown below: Side of Coin Landed On Heads Tails Number of Flips 54 46 Which of the following best describes the experimental probability of getting heads?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@phi last one lol The experimental probability is the same as the theoretical probability. The experimental probability is 4% lower than the theoretical probability. The experimental probability is 4% higher than the theoretical probability. The experimental probability cannot be concluded from the data in the table.

@Hero do you know this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im going with b. cause i got 2% and thats half of 4%

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well in theory P(head) = 1/2 or 50% in the experiment P(head) = 54/100 or 54% so the experimental proabability is higher... and by how much..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by 4% right? @campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

correct

ok then thank you!!! ^_^
