I need some reassurance here: - The graph of a system of equations will intersect at exactly 1 point. - sometimes <<< - always - never - The graph of a system of equations with the same slope and the same y-intercepts will have no solutions. - sometimes - always - never <<< Don't they have infinitely many solutions?

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

The graph of a system of equations will intersect at exactly 1 poin some time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I chose that

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

first one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes the '<<<' means I chose that as my answer

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

sometime

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

f the two lines have the same y-intercept, then you'll have infinitely many solutions If they don't have the same y-intercept, then you'll get no solutions. So this is why this statement is sometimes true

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

The graph of a system of equations with the same slope and the same y-intercepts will have no solutions sometimes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thank you!

OpenStudy (decentnabeel):

no problem :) @kasits16

OpenStudy (triciaal):

are you sure for the second one? same slope means parallel lines no intersection same slope and same y-intercept means same line therefore same infinitely many solutions

OpenStudy (triciaal):

maybe I am a bit confused with the wording
