Check my work with finding the inverse function?

f(x) = 2x + 3
Replace the function notation f of x with y
y = 2x + 3
Now, reverse the x and y variables
x = 2y + 3
Solve for y by isolating it on one side of the equal sign.
-3 + x = 2y
Divide each side by 2
-3 + x /2 = y
Replace y with the inverse function notation.
-3 + x/2 = f^-1(x)

Did you mean 
$$\Large f^{-1}(x) = -3 + \frac{x}{2}$$
OR did you mean
$$\Large f^{-1}(x) =  \frac{-3+x}{2}$$
