I really need help

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

A cylindrical vase has a diameter of 6 inches. At the bottom of the vase, there are 7 marbles, each of diameter 3 inches. The vase is filled with water up to a height of 12 inches. Which of the following could be used to calculate the volume of water in the vase?

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

\[\pi(2ft)^2(8ft)+\frac{ 1 }{ 3 } \pi(2ft)^2(9.5ft-8ft)\] \[\pi(8ft)^2(2ft)+\frac{ 1 }{ 3 } \pi(2ft)^2(9.5ft-8ft)\] \[\pi(2ft)^2(8ft)+\frac{ 1 }{ 3 } \pi(9.5ft-8ft)^2(2ft)\] \[\pi(8ft)^2(2ft)+\frac{ 1 }{ 3 } \pi(9.5ft-8ft)^2(2ft)\]

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Volume of water = (volume of cylinder with height 12) - (7 * volume of a marble)

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

I don't know how to find all the volumes :(

OpenStudy (welshfella):

I notice the units in question are in inches but the choices are in feet??

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

I accidentally posted the wrong answer choices lol. Give me one second.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

i thought you might have!!

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

It's a lot to type out lol.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the volume of a cylinder = pi r^2 h where r = radius and h = height the volume of a sphere = (4/3) pi r^3 where r = radius of the sphere the marbles are all spheres

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

I got pi(3in)^2-7(4/3 pi(1.5in)^3)

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):
