@welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

(f - g)x is simply the difference f(x) - g(x0 3x + 2 - (2x - 2) - be careful with the signs when you simplify

OpenStudy (welshfella):

) its important to remember to put the second function in brackets )

i think it would be the 3 one down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+4

OpenStudy (welshfella):

first distribute the negative over the x - 2 3x + 2 - (2x - 2) = 3x + 2 -2x + 2 ( the sign changes form -2 to + 2 = x + 4

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you are right x+ 4
