It is never possible for the theoretical and experimental probabilities to be the same. True False

OpenStudy (welshfella):

WEll if you toss 2 coins and get 2 heads the experimental probability is 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4 what is the theoretical probability of getting the same thing?

Here is an explanation kind of like @welshfella 's http://www.softschools.com/math/topics/theoretical_vs_experimental_probability/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

true? @jcoury

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think so :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@welshfella isn't it true?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D

OpenStudy (welshfella):

No its false - the theoretical probability of tossing 2 coins is 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah didn't think of that
