(HELP!!!)The slope of the line between two points is known as the rate of change in the relation. A relation with a constant rate of change is linear, while a relation with different rates of change between points is nonlinear (quadratic, cubic, etc.). If the relation is not linear, you can find the rate of change between two points, known as the average rate of change, if those points are specified. For the nonlinear relation below, the rate of change between x = 0 and x = 2 is _____. (Answer must be in reduced ratio form)

OpenStudy (lurker):

They want you to find the slope of that line

The slope I had gotten for that line is 1/2. But 1/2 is registering as the wrong answer. The slopes are all different, but all have x as 1. So 1st points slope is 1/.5, then 1/1, and then 1/2. The only problem I have with this is finding the rate of change from the rise of the slope. @Lurker

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

it wants the slope of the line between x = 0 and x = 2

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

so you would use (0,1) and (2,4) to calculate the slope

Oh, well thank you! ^w^
