@dabest21 On a coordinate grid, the coordinates of vertices P and Q for Polygon PQRS are P(1, 2) and Q(−1, 2). What is the length of Side PQ of the polygon?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@saseal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Keigh2015

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think is the distance between q and p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1438707210233:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it only moved in along the x-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1438707321898:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in other words @KAKES1967 1-x=-1 x=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes correct

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

@KAKES1967 the best way to figure it out is by going to desmos.com and typing in the coordinates.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Keigh2015 dayum dun tell em my secret

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol..

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

lol @saseal I didn't know you used that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i use that to plot functions actually, this one is too easy for me

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

I use for everything to deal with plotting or function. I am actually using it now to make a scatter plot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i use mathway.com u can do anything with it @Keigh2015 @saseal u guys should try it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try Rstudio

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

I have tried mathway.com it got me confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do type it in on desmos.com

OpenStudy (anonymous):

R studio is great for statistics. desmos is a function plotter by default, i think you need to switch to table plotting

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

click on just add sliders and it will open up with a thing to be able to let you make a graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know im really comfortable with mathway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there a trick to medal all of you because you all deserve it?

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

I don't think there is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is 2 right? @saseal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you all (:
