What do u Need help with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If \[f(x)=\frac{ 3 }{ 2}\sqrt{1+\tan x} \times \sec ^{2} x\] then find f(0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

...What math are you in?

OpenStudy (danjs):

do you know how to determine the tangent of an angle

OpenStudy (danjs):

If you look at the unit circle of radius 1, the tangent is y/x for any point on the circle

OpenStudy (danjs):

of the angle is zero degrees, you are on the +x axis, and y/x will be zero, so tangent of zero is 0...

OpenStudy (danjs):

secant , is 1/cos(x), any point on the circle is (x , y ) = (cos , sin ) the x coordinate for zero degrees (+x axis) , is 1

OpenStudy (danjs):

put those values in and solve... f(0) http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/unit-circle.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is the answer 3/2?

OpenStudy (danjs):

yep

Oh, Thanks!
