I am so confused here my question is..Write the equation in slope-intercept form of the line that has a slope of -7 and y-intercept 6.

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

The equation they require you to write is "equation of a line" where it is represented as y = mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the y - intercept.

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

So just plug in the values in that equation and you're done :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i would plug in 6=-7x+6?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

No b is the y - intercept, don't confuse that with "y"

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

|dw:1438795566460:dw| so you have \[y = -7x+6\]
