What type of angle is an angle of 5π/4 radians? obtuse acute reflex supplementary
@pooja195 @oldrin.bataku
i know that a is wrong
it is 225 degrees
I'm thinking reflex but in not completely sure
it must be greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees for obtuse. acute angle is less than 90 degrees so that's not it either :/
it is reflex because our angle must be greater than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees for supplementary two angles add up to 180 degrees.
can you help me on one more? the answer i get doesn't make sense but I'm not sure if I'm missing something
I could try... depends on the question x.x
Which angle measure less than or equal to 360° is equivalent to an angle of 17π/4? 45° 135° π° 230°
i got 765 degrees
wow that's a big angle to convert from radians to degrees.
I see.. so when we converted from radians to degrees we got 765 degrees recall that 360 degrees makes 1 full circle
720 degrees makes 2 full circles so you have to subtract 765-720
thats the part that threw me off
so its 45?
it's like when you have the degrees that's higher than 360... we have to figure out how many circles we are going to go through) like for example if I have 480 degrees... I have gone through one full circle, but I don't exceed 720 degrees. so 480 - 360 = 120 degrees is my difference like almost 1 and a half circle but not quite yeah it should be 45 degrees when 765 is subtracted by 720 765-720 = 45
ohhhhh okay thank you so much i kinda understand better
