Can someone please explain to me how to find the X intercept for an equation like y=4 and the Y intercept for an equation like x=3? I completely forgot. Thanks!

If we are given an equation like y = f(x)

to get X- intercept, we plug in y=0 
to get Y- intercept, we plug in x=0 

For equations you mentioned,
y =4, 
to get X-intercept, if you plug in y=0, you get 0=4 which is FALSE!
so you can conclude, there is no X-intercept.

another way to look at this 
y =4 is a HORIZONTAL line! 
which is 4 units away from X axis,
and it is parallel to X-axis!
So it will NEVER meet the X-axis! 
hence there will be no X-intercept :)
