OpenStudy (anonymous):

A triangle can be formed with side lengths 4 in, 5 in, and 8 in. True False

imqwerty (imqwerty):

true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm.. which one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because a triangle has the two sides that have are the same then the bottom of the triangle is going to be different then the sides of the triangle. Sorry if I am wrong but that just seem to be the right answer to me. I would go with @imqwerty , though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so true

imqwerty (imqwerty):

a triangle can be formed cause these sides satisfy this condition - in a triangle the sum of lengths of any two sides is greater than the length of other side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so true

imqwerty (imqwerty):

Yes
