This

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

start with finding all the factors of the constant term, 9. factors : 1 , 3 , 9 Now we've got to divide it by the leading coefficient and its factors. leading coefficient: 2, factors of 2: 1 , 2 ----------------------------------------------------------------- now take the constant terms and divide them by the factors of the leading coefficient. \[\pm \frac{1~,~3~,~9}{1~,~2}\] Now split and simplify. \[\pm \frac{1}{1}~,~ \pm \frac{3}{1}~,~ \pm \frac{9}{2}\]
