I have a question that is fairly trivial. I just can't seem to get it together. I have a plane wave that's travelling in the positive z-direction. And it travels through 3 different mediums, with medium 2 being a dielectric slab. My question is: How do I write the electric and magnetic field of the plane wave inside the slab? I know how to write the incident and reflective fields, as well as the transmitted field in medium 3. but I just can't seem to express the electric and magnetic field through medium 2. Some advise would be appreciated.

i have actually scan-read them and they look good if you need help, i am sure i could hack away at this and make it make some sense.
Thank you @IrishBoy123 I'll have a look at them and get back to you if I have any more questions. I just don't know what's wrong. I can write them down in the case with only two mediums. But not with three. It's so weird...

@IrishBoy123 If I wish to write the equations for the electric and magnetic field for a plane wave inside a slab of thickness a say. How do you think I should express them so as to make them understandable? Should I write them the same as for the incident, reflected and transmitted plane wave equation, exponential form. Or do you think it would be better to write it as : \[ Asin(kz−ωt)+Bcos(kz−ωt)\] You said you knew someone who might be able to help? Think you could ask them? :)
