@Halia subtract 300 from 20.

Kk @AliceCullen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did that @AliceCullen & I got 280 what should I do now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's your answer.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Percent change formula: \(percent~change = \dfrac{new ~number - old ~number}{old~number} \times 100\)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

280 is just the change, not the percent change. 280 is only the numerator of the percent change formula. Now divide by the old number (20 grams) and multiply by 100 to find the percent change.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Also, it's "subtract 20 from 300", not "subtract 300 from 20".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathstudent55 should I divide 20 from 280 ???
