This is almost the same thing as the previous question that you have asked. Technically when you solve for x, always use the inverse property. Since you know that 3x is basically "3 times x" and the inverse of multiplication is division, you need to divide both sides (what you do to one side you must do it to the other) by 3. What do you think x would equal to now?
