Is this the correct one I choose? B (3,2) Which point satisfies 2x + 3y > 6? a. (3, 0) b. (3, 2) c. (0, 2) d. (0, 0)

Nnesha (nnesha):

hey! how did you get the answeR ? did you use a calculator ? ja

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I did, but the anwser come out to (3, -1) :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm probably WAY off on something here :/

Nnesha (nnesha):

well you can plugin x and y values if you get true statement then those values of x and y would be correct check \[\huge\rm 3x+2y>6\] (3,2) substitute x and y for their vaues

Nnesha (nnesha):

(3,2) x --- ^ ^ y value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then I was correct? Or rather I just plug them in...

Nnesha (nnesha):

i just want to show how to check answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aha okay xD

Nnesha (nnesha):

2x+3y >6 x=3 y=2 2(3)+3(2) > 6 solve the left side let me know what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awesome! :D You're a great help and okay xD give me a moment. :D

Nnesha (nnesha):

say something it's okay! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12?

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes right so 12 > 6 12 is greater than 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aha sorry I was doing some other work as well xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay :D yay aha xD

Nnesha (nnesha):

it's okay! so that's the true statement 12 is greater than 6 thats mean (3,2) is a solution of the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay so I actually did do it right! :D <3 I feel proud ;")

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much for the help :'D <3 I fanned and medal ^.^//

Nnesha (nnesha):

my pleasure & thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welcome :D <3
