http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_mjprealgebra_v16/mjprealgebra_test2_m6_g2_p.jpg Describe how you can make the line of best fit. Write the approximate slope and y-intercept of the line of best fit. Show your work. (5 points) PLZ HELP I'm really lost with the whole concept :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think we are woking on the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

represents a positive association because it goes upward from left to right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm really lost on how to get the slope of the line of best fit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to do part B and it gets harder their

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm on part b too xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then I got one more essay to do which is question 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm only on 2 part b, did u get an answer to this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh number 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

/yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did that one but hnestly i just guessed and tried my best

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats your question to it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its in the link up top

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh that 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ima go back to what i did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty sm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much this really helped me out a lot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I know how you felt at first im suffereing it too lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its good to know someone doing the same thing i am doing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

totally, i might have to put some more on here lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm on 3 part a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same thing different title

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i seen that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where are you working at?>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im in a library

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm home

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh a swore a girl over their could of been you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the y intercept did u get 1? and lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank u!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im lost on part b as well, and u can delete them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm having a hard time with the equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

part b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hang on one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write the equation for the line of best fit in slope-intercept form and use it to predict the number of games that could be won after 13 months of practice. (5 points)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im guessing its 23 or 24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u sm, just give me one sec then u can delete

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok u can delete

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help you out helped me out xDD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im reading the last question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A group of students were surveyed to find out if they like bike riding and/or roller skating as a hobby. The results of the survey are shown below: 80 students like bike riding 20 students like bike riding but do not like skating 90 students like skating 40 students do not like bike riding Make a two-way table to represent the data and use the table to answer the following questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know exactly what u mean XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats my same question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Part A: What percentage of the total students surveyed like both watching television and reading? Show your work. (5 points) Part B: What is the probability that a student who does not like watching television also does not like reading? (5 points)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same numbers just diff things

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put in: I belive it could be 10 perecent of the total students serveyed like both bike riding and skating. 90 subtracted by 40 equals 50 and 80 subtracted by 20 equals 50. With both of those sums i do 60 subtracted by 50 and get 10 for the answer of 10 percent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Part A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had to do double brain storming for this one xDD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

XDD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have a C in pre-algebra ;-;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just in case you got a better score. gotta let you know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have a C too lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this stuff is hard, i usually turn to google XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Part B: What is the probability that a student who does not like watching television also does not like reading? (5 points) btw, who's your pre alg teacher?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its mrs booth or boor I have to check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i have meurer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u get part b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put in: I think the probabilty of students that dont like to do bike riding and also dont like to do skating is 20 students because 20 students like bike riding but dont like skating and 40 dont like bike riding at all and I do 40 - 20 for my answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK U SM :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mines is like this but its hard to change around the answer mines is like: The probabilty that a student does not like bike riding and also does not like skating is 20 students because 20 students like bike riding but do not like skating and 40 does not like bike riding at all and it leaves me to do 40 - 20 to get my answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried my best to change around the answer a bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

reading these are really helping me understand a lot better, ty, oh and u can delete them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the only thing i don't like is that the essays don't grade automatically
