How do I factor polynomials that are not quadratics?
I have \(6x^4-18x^3+12x^2\)... it's just been a long time since I've done this xp
haha it's okay so first you have to find GCF(greatest common factor ) then you will get a QUADRATIC equation
6x^2, right?
it's a quadratic equation.
yep right!
and I pull that out first, right? I think I'm remembering now XD
yes take out the common factor :)
so I have \(6x^2(x^2-3+2)\)
-3x****
yep right
sooooooo i have \(6x^2(x-1)(x-2)\)
perfect!
is that it?...
i didn't foil it to check ur answer -1 times -2 =+2 perfect -1-2=-3 which is middle term perfect! so that's right
yes that's it
okay.. and I skipped two questions on this worksheet (I'm in precal and we're doing review but I don't remember how to do them) will you help?
I'll open a new question
i have to go sorry i'll be on after one hour i guess sorry
ohhh.. it's already 9 though D: I'll find someone else.
