Today I wore two different shoes! Oh boy! I am a mess! Fell on my face and got a bruise Oh boy! I am a mess! I poured some ketchup on my dress Oh boy! I am a mess! The dress was white if you could guess Oh boy! I am a mess! 1. How does the poet create a rhythm for this poem? by writing about a character who is always late by repeating the phrase "Oh boy! I am a mess!" by making each line have the same number of syllables by rhyming the words "shoes" and "bruise"
Its not a thats all ik my guess is by repeating the phrase "Oh boy! I am a mess!"

Shhhh—the wind is soft And the sky is blue The sparkling sea sings to me You could listen, too Buzz—the bee is quick The flowers play along The butterfly comes by It knows the bee's song Swish—my ball flies away Chasing the yellow bird Among a million sounds The rain is the best I have heard Passage 2 It is a beautiful day outside. I am happy to feel the wind and watch the sky. There are many sounds of nature. The sea sounds like it is singing. The bee, butterflies, and flowers seem to have a song as well. While I play with my ball, I think that I like the sound of rain the most. You should listen to the sounds of nature as well. 2. How are these passages different? Only Passage 1 makes use of rhyme. Only Passage 2 mentions the word "you." Only Passage 1 shares facts about nature. Only Passage 2 shows the speaker's feelings.

Once there was a young girl in a small town. She seemed to be a plain, normal girl. During the day, people at the market would not even look at her twice. She was polite, quiet, and smart. Most people in the town barely noticed her. Those who did notice her could never remember her name. She was just a girl to them. To her father, however, she was special. You see, her father owned a small bakery. He did not enjoy baking. In fact, he hated it. He really wanted to be an inventor. He had all kinds of inventions sitting around the house, collecting dust. After he made one, he moved on to the next. The girl had to keep the bakery open so that her father could have money to invent and to buy food to eat. So, the girl used her talents. What was her talent, you ask? It's very simple. The girl would make one of each item the bakery sold. Then, she would tell that roll, cookie, or cake, "Make twenty more." Before her very eyes, the baked good would multiply until it reached the number she wanted. 7. A reader can tell this selection is fiction because the girl lives in a small town with her dad. the girl makes something magical happen. the passage gives facts about the town. the girl works every day at her dad's bakery.
