not sure about the question this is interesting https://gyazo.com/a51cb2439e888cc6c313d89e4d422240 plasma may be your answer but depends on how mow much science you want, i suppose. eg you get waves in water, as in ripples on the surface and they're transverse. and sound travels in water as a longitudinal wave. that's both types in the same medium. for example a slinky can vibrate along its length or it could be made to vibrate transversely

Waves in plasmas can be classified as electromagnetic or electrostatic according to whether or not there is an oscillating magnetic field. An electromagnetic wave, in contrast, must have a transverse component, but may also be partially longitudinal. I support @IrishBoy123 's answer..

@arindameducationusc @irishboy123 but the answer is solid and i m not getting it because both compressional and transverse can travel in all the mediums i guess...
