For two functions, f(x) and g(x), a statement is made that f(x) = g(x) at x = 5. What is definitely true about x = 5? Both f(x) and g(x) cross the x-axis at 5. Both f(x) and g(x) cross the y-axis at 5. Both f(x) and g(x) have a maximum or minimum value at x = 5. Both f(x) and g(x) have the same output value at x = 5.

well, we know that when we "put in" x = 5, both functions have an equal "output" value. we can't say anything else about this value, like max/min/x-axis/y-axis etc. because we don't know anything else about the two functions. make sense?

@Vocaloid so the answer is D?
