Support your discussion with evidence from the text. I. Hook:Two literary works best conveyed nature in their own manner, one called "The Calypso Borealis," an essay written by John Miller called and a poem written by William Wordsworth's called "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud." A. Bridge: Both author created work that captures the beauty of nature, while displaying their compassion and emotion for such beauty. They each capture the essence in their own way, one through a poem while the other through an essay , each using a their own descriptive imagery to cultivate the scenery and amazement of the experience. A. Bridge: William Wordsworth and John Miller not only through the diction , vocabulary, and syntax, but also through the impact of tone, and mood, and while both authors express their relationship in different ways there is still the essence of them impact on the audience. B. Thesis: Wordsworth and Muir express their deep connection and love with nature using similes and hyperboles to show the reader how much nature had effected their lives. II. Topic Sentence: Muir A. Example, Reason, Detail, or Fact from the text: They stretched in never-ending line B. Explanation: It is very obvious that in the story "I wandered as lonely as the clouds" he feels as if the stars never ended in the sky C. Example, Reason, Detail, or Fact from the text: The rarest and most beautiful of the flowering plants I discovered on this first grand excursion was Calypso borealis D. Explanation: He saw the rarest and most beautiful flower as he was walking III. Topic Sentence: A. Example, Reason, Detail, or Fact from the text: "I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills." B. Explanation: He felt lonely as a sky, that he floats on top of the o'er vales and hills. C. Example, Reason, Detail, or Fact from the text: "When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils" D. Explanation: When he saw a crowd meaning a feild, a host meaning a rescorces to people and that host was a daffodils.
