What can the arrow in a chemical reaction be translated to mean? Check all that apply. a. yields b. accompanied by c. react to form d. added to e. except

OpenStudy (photon336):

I think it's yields

OpenStudy (ciarán95):

I'd agree with @Photon336 about -> meaning 'yields' in all general cases for a chemical reaction. Perhaps we could also refer to it as 'react to form' too. This would only be true for reactions involving two or more reagents reacting together and not for something like decomposition reactions, where we have a single species decomposing by itself to form the products (i.e. not necessarily reacting with anything).
