btw, it may be less confusing if you first write it as \[ –7(x + (–y) + (–2z))\]

I got –7x + 7y + 14z

OpenStudy (phi):

yes and it is a good idea to remember you can "undo" that and change –7x + 7y + 14z = -7(x -y -2z) algebra is learning how to change from one to another (or back)
