Chinese written language is based upon a system a similar to the Arabic alphabet b. of symbols, each standing for a separate word in the language. c. similar to the Phoenician alphabet. d. of drawings and paintings called calligraphy.
I think it's C. @jgirl128
I think it's D, but I'm not sure.
is the answer somewhere in your textbook? cause some of the answers I'm finding are not any of the options.
I didn't see anything mentioning it, I looked on the web and C or D make the most sense.
well I don't think it's C because I can't really find anything that connects the two. the Phoenician alphabet is derived from Egyptian hieroglyphics, and Chinese writing is similar to hieroglyphic writings but it never attained the alphabetic stage.
