An active student injured his knee playing basketball and has been advised by his doctor to avoid impact activities that cause heavy force on his bones. What is the most effective activity he can do to maintain his stamina without further injury? Basketball Jogging Swimming Jumping rope
@imqwerty
help me please
Okay so we know that he hurt his knee and since he hurt his knee anything dealing with causing pressure to it is no good so let's see in basketball there is a lot of twisting jumping and running around . So that's out of the question. In jogging that's running that will keep putting force on his bones that will cause them to ache even more and in jump roping that causing pain to the knee too cause of the force of bending to jump up and down . But with swimming does it cause any jumping running or twisting? In swimming your mainly using your legs and arms and the water is going to make your body more lighter
So I'd go with swimming because for one just with comparing all of the other activities include jumping running or moving your body and putting the full weight of your body on the knee while swimming does not include that
