what are the roots x=? and x=? x axis scale 1 unit to 1
Since it looks to touch the x-axis only once, there must be two zeros at x = 5, which -- by the factor theorem -- correspond to two factors: (x - 5) and (x - 5) .

Not quite, the zeros, or critical points, are where the parabolic fuction touches the x-axis
x=3 and x=6 are the roots
we can subtract 3 frm both sides to get x-3=0 and we can subtract 6 frm both side to get x-6=0 now the factorization of the polynomial are (x-3)(x-6)
