Joe solved this linear system correctly. 6x+3y=6 y=-2x+2 These are the last two steps of his work: 6x-6x+6=6 6=6 Which statement about this linear system must be true? a There is no solution to this system b y must equal 6 c x must equal 6 d There are infinitely many solutions to this system
plz help i will give medal and fan and testimony to whom ever does! oh plz no guessing i really need to know so I dont make a mistake, this is practice for a test that is coming up next year and i wanna be ready i was thinking it was either d or b i am not sure plz support ur answer with proof thx
well if I rewrite the 2nd line by adding 2x to both sides of the equation 2x + y = 2 and if you take the 1st line 6x + 3y = 6 and divide each term by 3, what do you get...?
i dont understand hmmmm.....
@chibiterasu can u help?
wait isnt the answer 6? so it is either b or c help openstudy!
u know i am going with b no one helps!
ugh
feel free to help if u r kind ;)
the 2nd line is a multiple of the 1st line... so they are basically the same line... so if 1 line sits ontop or another line there are infinite solutions...
