OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KJSaif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 56?

KjSaif (kjsaif):

let me see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

KjSaif (kjsaif):

the answer is 26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

makes no sense dude lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a right triangle which equal 90 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90-34=26?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or 56 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@triciaal

KjSaif (kjsaif):

the pathagorean thereom states that a^2 + b^2 = c^2. So you just plug in the numbers. (10)^2 + (24)^2 = c^2 100 + 576 = C^2 676 = C^2 then you take the square root of 676 which is 26

@nincompoop

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Monkey4224 ??? he confused the heck out of me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

56. 10 + 24 = 34 + 56 = 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i am correct ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, KJSaif was probably doing the formula for something else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe surface area?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Actually he is correct @Monkey4224 @JColon25 He used the pythagorean theorem. And the answer is 26 too. !

OpenStudy (rushwr):

it states that the square of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that is 34

OpenStudy (rushwr):

nop
