Nnesha (nnesha):
do you know the formula to find slope ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I am not sure because it's not giving no formula
Nnesha (nnesha):
\[\huge\rm \frac{ y_2 -y_1 }{ x_2 -x_1 }\]
formula to find slope now plug x's and y's into the formula
(x_1 , y_1 )(x_2 ,y_2)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the second one
Nnesha (nnesha):
i just want to ask one question
what did you substitute for y_2 ?
y_2 is what in the order pair ?

I made a educated guess
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
you got it.....-14
Nnesha (nnesha):
slope = difference of y's over difference of x's
so subtract y and x values
Nnesha (nnesha):
luckily but i'm pretty sure this type of question will be in pre-cal
Nnesha (nnesha):
so educated guess isn't a good option.

true ^^ you should not have to guess....you know the formula...just plug in your points
OpenStudy (anonymous):
your right but thanks to both of you fanned both to
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
happy to help :)
Nnesha (nnesha):
too late for the advice.
