An equation for a line using vectors uses this idea: we have a "direction vector" that we can "travel along" in the direction of the line. To find this direction vector, define B-A (this will give you a vector that points in the correct direction) then add a "starting point" A P= A + t(B-A) where t is a scalar that lets us move along the line. Use the definitions of vector A and B in that expression.
