My example said to multiple the numerator to -8 but my other example divided the denominator..

x-intercept 2 means the point is (2,0)

so right your slope is (4-0)/(8-2)=4/6 or if you reduce 2/3

now checking your y-intercept (second please )

which is what you also got but you just don't have it in reduced form
