half the complement of 60
complemet of 60 be x so 60 + x = 90 proceed
i jest started this so i dont know how to do any of it
Two Angles are Complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle).
as he said 2 angles that are complementary equal 90 degrees as im sure you are going over this in class as well this may help you understand. if angles are supplementary they are a linear pair meaning they equal 180 degrees. if it was a supplement if 60 degrees it would be the total (180) minus its supplement. a 60 degree angle and a 120 degree angle are a linear pair because they equal 180 degrees. same works with complementary except the concept is "cut in half" the total changing from a straight angle of 180 degrees to a right angle of 90. to find the complement of a 60 degree angle you would take the total like you did before but this time the total of a complementary angle (90) minus its complement. so (90-60)= 30 the complement to a 60 degree angle would be a 30 degree angle.
