LAST ONE PLEASE HELP!!! Most geologists think the continents formed as a result of continental drift; when supercontinents separated, different regions became geographically isolated from each other. Which of the following best describes a long-term consequence of continental drift? A.) Fusion of hybrid zones caused a reduction in reproductive barriers between different species. B.) Gene flow between the regions was interrupted, and allopatric speciation occurred. C.) Genetic drift caused the extinction of many species, reducing genetic variation in populations. D.) Sympatric speciation occurred as organisms were unable to ove

OpenStudy (ckallerid):

It's between A and C. The continental drift had separated most of it's close by species causing them to mate anything they could find. A partial outcome of the drift also did cause extinction and reduced populations by alot.

@ckallerid thank you for the help, I think it may be A. I had a feeling before about A but I'm on the fence.
