(WILL GIVE MEDAL HELP PLEASE) Which of the following best supports the endosymbiont theory that present-day eukaryotic cells are descendants of a successful symbiotic relationship between a host cell and an engulfed prokaryote? A.) Chloroplasts and mitochondria replicate in a similar manner as some prokaryotes. B.) Chloroplasts are necessary for photosynthesis reactions in plant and bacteria cells. C.) Mitochondria and chloroplasts are able to produce ATP molecules to be used by the cell. D.) Mitochondria use proteins and nutrients produced in other regions of the eukaryotic cell.
@AaronAndyson
What do you think?
@AaronAndyson I have my bet on C because it sounds vaguely familiar
Correct!:)
Could you give me a explanation? (i read about it like 2 years ago)
the mitochondria and i think with a single bacteria or just a mere cell. accordingly the mitochondria itself is a single living organism that is not part of cell organelles but theres a cell that engulf the mitochodria, and it became one of the organelles of that cell. thats what i knnow
And I can't seem to remember what I read like 2 days back xD Amazing memory you've got.
@AaronAndyson thank you for the help....and ehh I just sometimes remember random stuff, most times it doesn't help me a bit XD
Take me in the same boat xD
