Let f(x)=2x+2. Solve f^-1(x) when x=4. I believe I know how to do this problem, if someone would just walk through it with me.

First you need to find the inverse function. Do you know how to do that?
I believe so. My first step to finding the inverse function would be to replace f^-1 with y and then switch my x and y variables right? @Tommynaiter
Yes, that is correct. You switch x and y and then isolate y. If you do this, what function do you get then?
