I think it would be the indirect object. The direct object in this case would be the tickets. He's handing them the tickets, and the tickets are the main part of that, considering "them" could be "him," "her," or "us" as well.

So indirect object

torilovesvampires · Answer

predicate nominative

anonymous · Answer

Isn't the nominative when you're answering what something is? Like "The game is Call of Duty" or "The color is blue?"

torilovesvampires · Answer

A predicate nominative is a noun or pronoun which follows the verb and describes or renames the subject. It is another way of naming the subject. It follows a linking verb.

anonymous · Answer

Exactly, so this can't be a predicate nominative

torilovesvampires · Answer

A more simple explanation of predicate adjectives is it modifies the subject of the sentence. In the sentence “The flowers are blue,” the subject is “the flowers.” In this example, “blue” is what modifies the subject, “the flowers,” and is connected to the subject by what is known as a linking verb.
